From the artist: Blue was painted out of the studio, in a back alley bar while a local blues band played and an audience watched us; painters and musicians. A few of my fellow artists were there that evening too, also painting and enjoying the ambiance of the evening.
Created entirely from my imagination and my lived experiences in nature, Blue expresses a funky rock island in a cool blue lake with the soft moonlight peeking through the clouds.
